Once you have started a deposit, this is how to check where it is and confirm it arrived. For choosing a deposit method in the first place, see Deposits.
What a deposit is doing
Every deposit method ends the same way: USDC is credited to your N1 perps account on mainnet. The deposit window handles the funding side — your connected wallet, a transfer from an exchange, a card or Cash App payment — and hands the funds to N1 when the payment settles.
That means the wait you experience is almost always the funding side, not N1: card and bank payments wait on the payment provider, and on-chain transfers wait on network confirmations.
Check whether it arrived
For a deposit that is still in progress, reopen the deposit menu and select Deposit Tracker, which shows the progress of supported deposits.
Your balance is the fastest check: open Portfolio and look at Account Equity and Available Margin. If the deposit has credited, both include it.
For a record of individual deposits, open Portfolio → Deposits. The table shows:
- Date
- Token
- Amount
- Post Balance — your balance after that deposit credited
- Action — a link to the on-chain transaction
An empty table reads "No deposit history." If loading fails you will see "Failed to load deposit history. Please try again." — refresh and try again.
Note that the Deposits tab exists on your master account only; sub-accounts are funded by internal transfer, so they show Transfers instead. See Perps sub-accounts.
If a deposit has not arrived
- Confirm the payment actually completed on the funding side — in your wallet, your exchange withdrawal history, or your card/Cash App statement.
- Check the transaction on-chain. If your funding step produced a transaction, confirm it is finalised and was sent to the address the deposit window gave you.
- Give a transfer time to be detected. Crypto transfers are credited after the network confirms them and N1 detects them.
- Re-check Portfolio → Deposits rather than only the balance, so you can see the exact amount and time credited.
Contact support with the transaction signature or payment reference if a completed payment has not credited. That reference is what lets support trace it.
Common causes of a deposit going missing
- Wrong token or chain. Deposit addresses accept only the token and chain you selected. Sending anything else — or sending to an address from an earlier deposit attempt — can permanently lose the funds.
- Partial payment. Fees taken by an exchange or bridge can make the amount arriving smaller than the amount you entered. What arrives is what is credited.
- Depositing to a wallet, not to N1. Funds sitting in your connected wallet are not trading collateral until they are deposited into your perps account.
Errors when opening the deposit window
- "Deposit is unavailable in this environment."
- "Missing recipient address for deposit."
- "Missing user identity for deposit."
These mean the deposit window could not start — usually your account is not fully initialized or your session needs refreshing. Reload the app and sign in again; contact support if it persists.
