Market Requests is how you tell N1 which markets to list next: "Vote on the markets you want listed next." Open it at app.n1.xyz/market-requests.
How it works
"This is a continuous poll with no end date. Everyone gets base votes, plus any bonuses shown below. Update your allocation anytime. When a market is listed, we archive it and return those votes for you to use again."
So there is no deadline to hit, votes are not spent permanently, and you can rebalance whenever you change your mind.
Anyone can see the candidate list and the running vote totals. To vote you need to be signed in.
Your vote budget
Signed in, the page shows your budget:
- Base votes — the allocation everyone gets
- Points bonus and Legacy bonus — additional votes, where they apply to you
- Used and Available — how much of your budget is allocated
Your votes are an allocation, not a queue of individual actions: you spread your available votes across candidates however you like.
Voting
The table lists each candidate with Market, Votes (the total across all users), Added, and Your Votes.
- Use + / − on a market, or type a number into its box.
- Watch Available as you allocate — you cannot allocate more than your budget, and going over shows "Vote allocation exceeds your available votes."
- Select Save votes. It confirms with "Market request votes saved."
Two details that catch people out:
- Saving replaces your whole allocation with what is on screen. It does not add to a previous save, so leave the votes you want to keep in place.
- Nothing counts until you save.
Votes are whole numbers, and a market cannot take more than you have left.
After a market is listed
Listed markets move to Recently listed — "Markets recently added to N1" — and the votes you had on them return to your available budget for the next candidate. If nothing has been listed yet, the section reads "No markets have been listed yet."
When there are no candidates open, the table reads "No active market requests."
What voting does and does not do
Votes are a signal N1 uses when deciding what to list. Listing also depends on factors votes cannot settle — liquidity, oracle/index availability and risk parameters — so a top-voted market is not an automatic listing, and no timeline is implied by a high vote count.
