The N1 mobile app is available in English, Simplified Chinese (简体中文), Korean (한국어) and Japanese (日本語). By default it uses your phone's language. You can choose a different language at any time in Settings.
How the app picks a language
When Device language is selected, the app goes through the languages on your phone in order and uses the first one it supports. If none are supported, it shows English.
Traditional Chinese is not available. If your phone is set to Traditional Chinese, the app uses the next supported language in your phone's list, or English.
When you change your phone's language, the app follows the change automatically. You do not need to restart it.
Change the language
-
Open the app sidebar and select Settings.
-
Select Language. The row shows your current language, for example Device language (English).
-
Select a language. Each language is listed in its own script, with its English name below it, for example 한국어 and Korean.
To follow your phone's language again, select Device language.
The app switches to the new language immediately.
What to expect
-
Your choice is saved on this phone. It does not follow your account. The web app has its own language setting in Preferences.
-
Your trading values do not change. Switching languages only changes the text and the display format of numbers and dates. It never changes your orders, positions, sizes, prices or balances.
-
Some text stays in English. Asset symbols, market names, product names, trading abbreviations such as PnL, TP/SL and RFQ, and wallet addresses are not translated. Atomics, push notifications, announcements from N1 and market descriptions also stay in English.
Troubleshooting
-
I can't find Language in Settings: update the N1 app to the latest version, then close and reopen it.
-
I see "Couldn’t save your language. It will reset next time you open N1.": your choice applies now but was not saved. Close and reopen the app, then choose the language again.
